The Fondazione Prada is an important cultural institution founded in 1993 by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli with the aim of promoting contemporary art and culture in all its forms.
The main headquarters in Milan, opened to the public in 2015, is located in Largo Isarco in the southern part of the city and is the result of the transformation of a former industrial distillery dating back to the early 20th century.
The architectural project, designed by the OMA studio led by Rem Koolhaas, combines existing buildings with modern structures, creating a unique space where industrial heritage and contemporary experimentation engage in dialogue.
Over the years, the Foundation has established itself as one of the leading international cultural institutions, distinguished by a multidisciplinary approach that brings together art, architecture, cinema, photography, and scientific research.
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a journey through permanent installations and temporary exhibitions, hosted in iconic spaces such as the Torre, the Podium, and the evocative Haunted House, a building clad in gold leaf.
Inside the Foundation, works by some of the most important contemporary artists are displayed, including Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Walter De Maria, Carsten Höller, and Pino Pascali, leading figures in international art from the 1970s to the present.
The visit is a true journey into contemporary art and creativity, where each space offers a different experience: from immersive installations to large iconic works, as well as areas dedicated to cinema and cultural activities.
