The guide was very knowledgeable, but she had to make up a lot of dead time because we could not get into the Duomo. The tour knew in advance that we would not have time to get in, as was evidenced by the fact the guide already had in hand tickets to pass out for future attendance. We should have been told in advance so that we could arrange another tour later. I should think that the tour could make arrangements for special entry for all of the tours to schedule. I felt like I was gipped. I live in the USA and now likely will never see the Duomo. Rather than take the tour my time would have been better spent standing in the security line.
Hop on-hop off bus is a very good way to know the city and all of its history. However, I don´t understand why bus did not stop over in San Ciro Stadium. We were waiting for it more than one hour under the snow, so we decided to go to take metro. It was near 2:30 pm. and the buses should have still been on service. We also bought public transport option. Actually, we just used metro lines and we had the following problem: we were a family of three, two adults and a child aged of 11. Zani Viaggi employee (Alessandro) gave us one 48hs. ticket and others two 24 hs, tickets, but he never explained to us that child had free admission. Then, since we used these three tickets for three, the two 24 hs. ones expired on.the second day, In spite of we went to Zani Viaggi office and we complain, nobody solved our inconvenience. Thank you.
Nice treat at the offices but onboard the city bus staff was not nice, even if a talk to them in italian they respond in english or not answer at all.Wifi on the bus never worked and I ask for a stop and miss my stop. Museum nice, Domo so caothic to get a ticket, they should offer a quick entrance to voucher's owners.
The Milan pass is very usefull and it is well thought to tourists. The undergroud metro line is easy to use. Just a remark, in Teatro Alla Scala Shop the employee who answered us was not acquainted with the Milan Pass and he didn't know what to do. I share this because in the back part of the Milan pass regardind Teatro Alla Scala it says that we can exchange the tickets at La Scala Shop. One suggestion is that you could improve the discounts in restaurants, like have a large selection of restaurants in the center of the city that Milan pass covers. Generaly I appreciated a lot Milan with Milan pass.
